Catching Up !!
Wow, sorry I haven't posted anything since January. Every time I start to, we have something about to go on. Then, I wait, and wait, ....... So, now I'll attempt to catch up. Since our New Years Eve Lock-in we have held a couple of firsts. Our Winter Sleigh Bell Party was held in January. We had a pretty good turn out and alot of fun. In February, we held our first after dance party. Again, we had a nice turn out for this as well. Our 30 hour famine was held in February too. We ended up with 37 kids that fasted and partcipated. This famine was held to draw awareness to our world-wide homeless problem. Participants were encouraged to dedicate their fast to a lost friend or family member, or to a personal burden. We also spent a few hours in cardboard boxes out in the cold to get a feel for how the homeless have to survive each and every day. We did draw a few looks from passer-bys who just drove through the parking lot to see what was going on. It is our hope that by recognizing problems and drawing attention to them, our nation will wake up and return to the nation that once followed God. Our youth are going back to Columbus in March to minister to the homeless. Please be in prayer for them. Finally, I would like to thank all who have helped out recently. If I start to mention names, I would most likely miss someone. You guys know who you are and you are very much appreciated. Continue to pray for each other and for our church. God Bless, Ken.

New Years Eve Lock-in
Well, once again you guys pulled it off. We were concerned that we would not have much of a turn out because of the other lock-ins. 75 showed up!! AWESOME. What a great night in the Lord we had. It all started with "My Band" blessing us with a great show. They are rocking for God and are very much appreciated. We followed that up with a great altar service and the opportunity to pray in the new year as one. Expect great things from God in 2007. Finally, karaoke ruled for the last 6-7 hrs. of the night. You guys were a blast to watch/hear. It is such a blessing to be a part of such a great group. I appreciate all who helped out that evening.
Blessings, Ken
